Cool Cat Saves the Kids is a 2015 American direct-to-DVD children's film, directed and written by Derek Savage (in his feature-length directorial debut) and based on the series of children's books also by Savage. The film is a compilation of the three short films Cool Cat Stops Bullying (2012), Cool Cat in the Hollywood Parade (also 2012) and Cool Cat Finds a Gun (2013), as well as some new scenes. The film stars Jason Johnson playing the title role, with Derek Savage, Conner Dean and Jessica R. Salazar in supporting roles. Vivica A. Fox and Erik Estrada cameo as themselves.

History

The Cool Cat Wiki was founded by RadioGuy42 on January 23, 2017, and is about the Cool Cat series of films and books that have developed a cult following since the release of the hit 2015 movie Cool Cat Saves the Kids due to its perceived "so-bad-it's-good" status, being compared to films such as Tommy Wiseau's The Room.

The Cool Cat series is intended to be aimed at very young children and is about the anthropomorphic orange cat Cool Cat, who attempts to teach the viewers morals and life lessons.

The Cool Cat Wiki also features other projects by Cool Cat creator Derek Savage (who also stars in the Cool Cat films as "Daddy Derek"), including a gun-safety documentary for women and a marijuana-themed awards show.

The wiki would be adopted by Five Panel Games on 18 November, 2019, and then once again by thatjess on May 9, 2022.
